About Cottle Farmstead
Cottle Farmstead is a family owned and operated Farmstead. We have created The Farmstead Market to bring you the freshest fruits, vegetables, herbs, along with fresh baked breads. In 2023 we have added a beautifully curated organic non-GMO dry goods pantry.

Our story began in 2019 when we moved to Uvalde and found our perfect place along the Leona River 10 acres to help us realize our dreams of being self sustainable and growing natural foods, when we set up our first Farmstand ( a table and umbrella on our driveway) in May of 2020 we had no idea what was about to happen and the Blessings that were on the way. We have gained new friends while fueling our passion for gardening and living a simple life. Self reliance and sustainability is a new necessity in our time, we are on a mission to bring awareness to healthy eating and lifestyle.
We have officially become licensed growers and vendors of Heirloom Non GMO organic vegetable plants. Our team of lady farmers help seed, maintain , and harvest. Our market hosts family activities and events that encourage young and old to start their own journey into gardening and growing their own food. We offer gardening classes and a mentoring. Whether you live in an apartment or on a farm we can help you to live a more self sustainable life. We host local food caterers at our farmers market and our Farmstead Kitchen serves up delicious to go Farm to table meals.

In 2024 we started an internship program where work together with volunteers to advance the farm and share the bounty. We teach and mentor others to appreciate where our food comes from and together we can do more.

Come visit us and stay a while enjoy the beauty of nature and community.
